How do you increase rangatahi’s growing engagement and interest within New Zealand art, and how this can benefit their overall waiora?
'Weaving the Voices of Rangatahi Through the Arts of Aotearoa'

A commissioned presentation design project for a group a part of Creative NZ's annual kaupapa called Nui Te Korero. An interactive session which focuses on building connections by having more meaningful relationships alongside rangatahi within the arts and community.

Creative Process

I pitched two creative directions exploring character, typography and colour. The direction dubbed ‘Rangitahi‘ was chosen. It combines font and character design, and friendly colour theme.
I was given creative freedom for the character design for the 3 case studies with the likeness of Māori youth.

Justice is a law graduate & co-founder of HĀ. She is passionate about the preservation of Te Reo and tradition through art.
Chevron Hassett
Chev is an emerging artist, photographer and youth leader of who currently lives and practices out of Naenae.
Paige Sullivan
Paige works for the ministry of Youth Development and is an advocate for youth achievements.
Sonny Ngatai
Sonny is the Kaitohutohu Rangapū at Te Māngai Pāho. He us a presenter, humanitarian, and funny guy with a passion for change.
